I thought for sure that they would put sanctions on Troy State since they are in the same state as Alabama.

i dont follow, what does troy state's proximity to alabama have to do with anything?

He means they would have found a scapegoat. Since they didnt want to punish Alabama, they would have found a small school to come down extra [deleted], and since Troy State was conveniently close by, he felt they would be the most likely target.

And as far as making money for the NCAA, did you just work that one out today? I've said for years that our biggest mistake was beating UT and Notre Dame on national TV. The powers that be couldnt allow their cash cows to lose to a team that drew miniscule numbers.

no its been pretty obvious for a long time, if you notice i posted an article that speaks to that theory...i doubt anyone is claiming this is some major revelation
