Why are you the only one submitting stories on that site? I commend your efforts, but there's no other C-USA teams getting any coverage at all.

Also, you should be submitting your illustrations over there as well.

Don't know why other schools bailed. I guess we could change the name.

Thanks.

[quote]Talking to Kelcher, it’s obvious he cares deeply about SMU football and wants success for the program. But his frustration is also apparent.

“We just have a real crappy legacy to get over,â€

Kelcher also donates money to the program, so if he is trying to make a change in something, that we ALL know has been in the dumps, I would not say he has joined the dark side.

I didn't say he joined the dark side, just the realists' side.

It is great to see a photo showing the true SMU crimson helmets. It would be great if the team would go back to the true colors.

Agreed JT...I also think he is being diplomatic with the quote...“The guys that are there are athletes and they’re giving it everything they’ve got. Bless their hearts."...truth is outside of our punter, there is not 1 single player over the past 20 years who would start on our Pony Express teams.

And for the record, I saw Louie Kelcher play both college and pro ball and he was indeed a MONSTER.
