Got a nice brochure from SMU

it was full color, tri-fold, with lots of season ticket information. Didn't have the schedule though. Was wondering if anyone else got it and noticed the omission? Any ideas why that was left off?

SMU fans typically don't go to games, the exception being the few who post here. If they aren't going, why waste the money on printing the schedule?

All of the TCU fans that purchased tickets on-line for the TCU-SMU game last year received this brochure. SMU might want to rethink sending all of these brochures to visiting fans in the future. That's a lot of wasted printing and mailing costs.

I think I got it because I live in the lower greenville area, and they are targeting that area, which is a good idea. However putting out a season ticket brochure without the opponents and dates is a bit vexing.

If this is true Orsini should fire somebody over this.
Do they not proof all printed materials?
What could be more important than a business card size space with the schedule?
Jezzzz this is ridiculous!

It's sad but I was just talking with a friend of mine about this. He called me to tell me that he had received the brochure and stuff and that there was no schedule. I said it was maybe just an oversight, but I knew in my gut that someone just dropped the ball. They need to send out schedules to all those people ASAP. That was a really silly error.

I might as well say it before someone else does: Top 25 in everything we do.

a real F Up to not put the schedule on there, but it is pretty much standard operating procedure of any team to send out ticket brochures to anyone that has ordered tickets in the past.
I still get brochures from Rice, Texas Tech, Houston and Tulsa every year because I have had tickets mailed to me in the past. They print these by the 1000s, they bulk mail them...might as well send them to everyone they have an address for....

I got the brochure and the lack of a schedule is the first thing I noticed. I didn't post about it before now because at this point, I think it's just piling on to criticize the failings of SMU athletics.
But this is what happens when you fire your marketing staff.

Yeah, like they always do with the season tickets.
It's this kind of SNAFU that got me on Copeland's case

Did he volunteer
to fill in for Orsini while on vacation

Maybe it's just what happens when you foster an environment of failing athletics.
