I wasn't aware that MIT had any sports. Much less at least 8 of them. Will this be on the final and will math be required?

You've got to be kidding. The athletic department operates at a deficit of several million dollars, from what I hear. There are fewer than 10 athletic departments in the entire country that break even financially.

Yes, there are VERY FEW schools who actually churn out a profit from athletics. Read Beer and Circus by Murray Sperber - very interesting look in the world of college athletics.
