The quickest and probably only way out of this downward spiral is to sign some jucos. Start with a QB and allow Meeks and Phillips time to develop.

Next, I have never seen this, but we need to sign a JUCO PUNTER. It is hard for the defense to keep you in the game, which is all we can do now, when the punting team constantly gives away points and field position.

Sign some WR jucos with some size! Speed as well.

A couple of L to fill some holes.

There are no other options to stop this mess. Sign a few JUCOS. Do it!!!!!

Mickey,it would not have mattered who you have punting it the boys in front don't block. The player that blocked that punt came through unblocked over DD.Unblocked. No punter could have gotten that punt off.His times were all around 2 seconds and his average was 39.6 and his net was 36.1.

While I don't necessarily buy into the JUCO comments, I have to agree that we DO need help at punter.

Mentzel is TERRIBLE...Every one of his punts take place in slow motion...he has the ball at least 3 seconds before it comes off his foot. You are right, though, Click, we had no one blocking that guy on the blocked punt...Nothing could've save him there...except maybe a little ingenuity from Mentzel by falling on the ball or trying to run for some yardage.

No to mercenaries. No to JUCOs.

Raymond Berry and Dave Page were JUCO's. I don't consider JUCO's mercenaries.

Mentzel did just fine last night. The punt blocker came through unblocked. He had a few 40-45 yard punts last night. Field position wasnt our problem.
