Now on sale at the Barnes & Noble SMU Bookstore on Mockingbird Lane at Airline Road. Same color as last year's. However, the noticeable change is the striping on the sleeves (red and white) but it's not like what the players' jerseys have on them. It doesn't wrap around the sleeve. And different width. Also, the SMU lettering on the front is smaller than last year's. And only the number 11 is available (again). I was not impressed with the 'new' jersey. I'll keep wearing mine from last year.

A really nice addition to the SMU sportswear inventory at the Barnes & Noble SMU Bookstore is an Underarmour 'hoodie-type' sweatshirt. Unfortunately, it's only available in blue.

I get last year was the first year; changes were announced late; blah blah blah. But is really that hard to get an authentic football jersey made and marketed?

For some reason, the bookstore isn't allowed to get replica jerseys. I don't know if it's licensing or what. As to the '11,' it's commerative of SMU celebrating its 100th anniversary in two years.

Did they have the Mustang on the front of the neck?

Those who went to the Spring game had an opportunity to buy a real jersey. Athletic department had boxes of old player jerseys from the WAC and Nike days for sale.

I gota rain jacket the jerseys were to small for me

Jerseys are pretty tight. It generally takes two other players to help pull those jerseys over their pads, especially with the big guys.

Pretty sure it's commemorative of SMU's founding in 1911, not of SMU celebrating it's 100th anniversary.
