SMU- Shawnbrey McNeal/RB- We expect the NCAA to grant the junior immediate eligibility, and you should expect McNeal to force defenses to think twice before dropping back too far. The Miami transfer could easily put up 800+ or more if June Jones decides to limit carries for Chris Butler.

I believe Serge Elizee's eligibility was not granted until the early portion of fall works -- first or second week.

But I want to say the NCAA dealt with this issue in the order in which it was received. It may be that the Arkansas player eligibility thing came in before the McNeal case came in.

He's gotta make grades. I actually think that Butler can carry a solid, if not exceptional load if he stays healthy. But to have both available to the backfield means depth at RB in this offense.

Offers from Miami, Ole Miss, Nebraska, OK State, aTm, Texas Tech, TCU, and Kansas State.

Have we ever had a player with these types of offers get on the field in the past 20 yrs?
