I was at a gathering/soiree last weekend where an individual indicated that President Bush would be the "coin tosser" at the home opener. The Rangers have fared well since he threw out the first pitch, maybe he can work some magic for the 'stangs.

I hope that doesn't mean they're going to have to frisk us on the way in. Some of us have a flask to protect

maybe he'll arrange for us to all have coins. It is, after all, a new day in America.

Which reminds me...while I don't mind "All grit, no quit" why didnt we just go with "Yes We Can."

It would be nice to get the attention by having GW do the coin toss, and given that the game should be a sellout (even if it is not full) might be all part of the plan.

He also owned the team during some of the most pathetic years in team history, so I'm not sure his ability to lob a 60-foot changeup had anything to do with the team's inexplicable success this year.

Heck even the Nationals won when he threw out the first pitch. Now that's a team that that is down at our level.

I'm glad somebody's still concerned for the things that matter. Might have to switch to airplane bottles if they've got the magic wands out.
