Please remember Coach Dave Smith and his wife Judy in your prayers. I went to Granbury this morning to see him and he is very ill. Others were going down this afternoon. Dave is a good man and dearly loves SMU.

Pirates get a great deal on corn out there. Just a buck an ear!

After much research Mr. H and I decided on Granbury for several reasons. We were able to find a wonderful home in Pecan Plantation on a couple acres of land with the Brazos River in our back yard. Pecan Plantation is a community situated in a working pecan plantation with as many amenities as one could ask for...2 golf courses, 2 landing strips, clubhouse, archery, equestrian facilities, marina, rv park and several miles of walking trails. It is a lovely community and well worth the 70 mile drive to Dallas on Saturdays. Anyone that loves to golf should check this place out...just let us know and we'll get you through the gate

I think the Pirates, Granbury High School, has an ex Highland Park coach as their new AD.

If you happen to find an old casio watch in the river let me know. I lost it when canoeing about 10 years ago.
