SEASON EXPECTATIONS

With a rough early schedule, SMU looks to have a slow start against non-conference foes. Conference looks to be even tougher for the mustangs. I see SMU knocking off maybe 2 conference opponents in upset fashion to preserve the best record for SMU since 2006.
Season record - 2-10
SMU fans have to wait another season for the "turnaround"

It is going to depend on what Young Jeezy song is picked to play in the tunnel on game days.

Haha although I wish I could agree with my very outspoken SFA friend, I doubt it will be as "rough" as predicted. I'm here just get a small amount of knowledge about SMU before the game. Just a hobby. From what I've heard, theres alot of expectations this year and I look forward to following them this year. I would say 6-6 would be a respectable estimation for the season. One of those wins probably being first game. But good luck.
P.S. Can anyone explain who this hairy giant is I see all over the forum?

Really? I have broken wind with more originality. Your sad effort at humor falls somewhere between Scandinavia and fake-Germania (please make up names with some sense of nationality), which is however somewhat apt since it is likely to receive much the same chilly welcome as an ill-prepared and uninsulated crotch in the Baltic Sea.

Hey, just trying to help a brother out. I smell your broken wind from here and guess what, it does stink.

One of my season expectations is not to see any posts from GOFAGS after 9/5.

Atleast the subject matter isn't Hacksaw Jim Duggan anymore.

That dumb creature is Hacksaw Jim Duggan. The most intelligent alumni in SMU recent history. Made his fortune beating his face in with blunt objects. You can currently find him passed out on a park bench in highland park after a long day of booze and chasing squirrels for food. For a quarter he will bash his head with a 2x4.

Ever since these L-jacks struck it rich selling space shuttle debris they're getting real uppity.
They've got a lot of time on their hands with no more trips to the laundromat.
