This kid is a beast. Jones should look into him transferring for next year, if he is up for a new "second chance" case.

Depends on what his violation of team rules was that got him dismissed from Nebraska. But since we'll have McNeal, Butler, Lunday and the freshman (Pope?), and considering the team needs depth at too many other positions, I'd say no.

Word on the street is that it is a Ricky Williams type situation. Can't seem to put down the bowl after multiple failed drug tests. (Of course this is unconfirmed, but it is the only rumor out there and it is coming from multiple sources.)

Castille would have two years of eligibility left if he stays D-1--hasn't used his redshirt yet. However, he could also go directly into the draft this year as well (if a team were willing to take him after his dismissal.) He is a great short-yardage back. It would be great to see him blowing through some C-USA defensive lines!

And yes, great news for Burkhead. We're hoping he is as good as advertised up here--reports from practice seem to support that.
