I'm back and think I'm caught up

Hello all,
Again thanks for your support for what's been a pretty tough couple of weeks. It will still be tough but I know my Dad is in a better place. What was nice was at the committal of his casket, they had a military honor guard and played TAPS. Very fitting to a man to whom I owe much.

As a distraction, I have checked into the site from time to time to see what was going on. Think I have a decent idea but have a couple of questions. For instance, I know the McNeal thing probably won't get resolved until next week -- I hope.

I've read PonyPride's reports but I just have a couple of things:

1. Are these injuries to our linemen serious or not?
2. Where does Darius Johnson fit into the mix and my boy Cole Loftin?
3. Not clear on some parts on defense such as safety and LBs?
4. Does Jones think any of the incoming players besides Johnson will figure into the mix?
5. Braden Smith is backup QB?

Thanks and looking forward to Sept. 5 against SFA

P.S.
I think I have a trip lined up to watch the Gophers in the new stadium this fall. And it falls on a weekend SMU is on the road.

Go Mustangs! Ski U Mah!

from what i have gathered:
1) Dont know but at least josh is coming back to practice.
2) Still a 4 way race between j will the 2 coles and Dj for that 4th spot
3) Everywhere i look i have heard praises about our 4 new LB's . Especially Jagared Davis. Youri also is shining at his new position
4) Ja'gared davis. Also Taylor Reed. And also There is 3 true freshman in the 2-deep OL. Collins, Favreau and Fontana. Would be nice if eventually we could have some OL redshirt so they will be a year bigger down the road! And though not a freshman. JUCO Sterling Moore will play a lot.
5) Keep hearing Jones say yes due to the fact that he knows the system so much better

I think they're also rebuilding Kyle Padron's throwing mechanics, so yes — Braden Smith is the backup.

From what I saw when I stopped by practice, I think Yenga is going to be an absolute star at OLB.

4. June has been quoted as saying 7-8 of the freshman will be looked to for contributions, but names were left out of it.
