Surprise! Coach Jones returns to Hawaii with his gunslinger that he took (Bo Levi Mitchell) and the SMU Mustangs, as they come rolling into town to face off against the ‘bows in the Hawaii Bowl.

Unfortunately, this is a much improved SMU team than they were in 2008. They don’t turn the ball over as much, they’re much sharper on offense (remember, they did play Tulsa and Houston very tough last year) and Mitchell is much improved having had now two full seasons under his belt. Hawaii will hang tough, but Jones’ return will be a happy one (for him) as: FINAL SCORE: SMU 45, Hawaii 42

Indeed, I have long contemplated that God hates SMU. I even went as so far to e-mail Bill Simmons to ask his opinion on the subject.

Yes indeed. God hates SMU.

It all happend when SMU started playing in Texas Stadium instead of the Cotton Bowl. God looked through the hole in the roof to see his favorite team play, and instead of his beloved Cowboys, what did he see? The SMU Mustangs. And god said, "I must end this."
