Just curious if anyone else on the board was headed up to Pullman for the Wazzu game. I'll be there with the g/f so if anyone not named Stallion has a beer on me!

No idea yet man. From what I can tell there isnt much of a tailgate scene there but I believe the Mustang Club is having a tailgate at the stadium.

You better rethink your travel plans on Saturday. The drive from Seattle to Spokane is at least 5 hours and another 90 miles from Spokane to Pullman plus game traffic and parking issues. Remember you are traveling the full length of a big state and then dropping 100 miles or more south. I am planning on attending the game; however, will center no further away than Spokane for the drive down to Pullman on Saturday if I decide against the SMU Mustang Club travel package which sounds great, but $$$$$. Since I have not finalized my plans I cannot make any motel suggestions in Spokane or Coeur d' Alene which is a great town. Mustang Club is having a nice tailgate at the stadium with a corporate sponsorship ( at least in the corporate catered section of the stadium). Contact Debbie Mulvenna at 214--768-3315 (Office) 214-621-7491 (cell) for information re tailgate and block tickets.

I think anyone going to the game better pay attention to PoconoPony. I've never driven from Seattle to Eastern Washington state, but I have been caught trying to get to the airport there - SEA - on a game Saturday from a point much closer than Mapquest shows the distance from from Seattle to Pullman and the traffic was miserable.

Maquest shows from downtown Seattle to Pullman is 315 miles and a drive time of 5 hours and 21 minutes. It is a straight shot on I-90. Wish I could go. I'll be out of town that weekend.

Looked up the costs of airfare. Frontier's got a pretty good package - fly to Spokane Saturday morning; return Sunday; classic package (with DirecTV and two free checked bags) is about $400 with taxes included.
Unfortunately, that's still a little more than I can spend right now...oh, the joys of being on a student budget.
