1. All-American QB Candidate Case Kenuum 397-589 5020 yards 67.4% 44 TDs 11 Ints
2. Outstanding RB Bryce Bell who as Freshman and despite limited playing time early ran 198 attempts for 1272 6.3 yards per attempt 13 TDs plus caught 34 passes for 496 yards 4 TDs 14.6 yards per catch and 4 more TDs
3. Tyron Carrier who as freshman had 80 catches for 1026 yards 12.8 ypc 9 TDs
4. Patrick Edwards(7 games) 46 catches 634 yards 13.8 ypc
5. 6 returning players who caught 30 plus passes
6. James Cleveland who as Freshman was Freshman All-Big 10 at Iowa caught 36 passes for 464 yards
7. and now 4 star A.J. Dugat was cleared by the NCAA-had one of the best years in Texas last year with 112 catches for 1755 yards 15.7 yards per catch 21 TDs and added 642 yards rushing on 58 carries 11.17 yards per rush -word is he looks fantastic in preseason.

I think in this Conference they could approach 600 yards per game and 50 points per game.

If I were rating their Offensive Skill Positions I'd have to go with:

QB-9
RB-8
WR-8

And we were one first down away from beating them last year. I think we will make a good game of it.

If they are going to be the best this conference has to offer, they better play like it. From a reputation standpoint, this conference sorely needs its top team to have a great season. Not BCS buster but just a very very good season.

They play at Oklahoma State on the 12th and then at home against TTech on the 26th (ESPN2).

It would be nice if they could win 1 of those games.

It would be nice if they could win both. And lose on Oct. 24th.

They will beat Tech at home, dont think they have a chance against Ok State. The 24th will be a good one, but a tough road test for the ponies for sure!

While the TT game will be fun to watch, I'm thinking TT (with a bad Big 12 d) will outscore the Cougs (with a bad CUSA d).

I would tend to agree with you, if they were playing at Tech . . . but that Tech offense (while it will be good) will not be scoring at as high a clip as the Houston offense. Granted, the Tech D may be better than the Houston D, but I don't think it is enough. probably in that 48-41 range, but still a Cougar win.
