how many INT do your think he is going to throw this year.

I am going to say 35

He looked awful tonight, and I am going to go out on a limb and say maybe the glove he wore on his throwing hand may have something to do with it.

I saw it when he was warming up before the game. between that and the sleeve he wears on his left arm he must be falling apart.

Pay for his education, but please please please please please please, keep him on the bench

None of JJ quarterbacks in the last decade have had fewer than 17 interceptions a season. It's just a part of the cost of running that scheme.

Does JJ always confer with the QB every play to give him the play to run or are plays ever signaled in?

It would also help if he wouldn't lock onto his first read all the time and force balls. I don't recall a time he checked down. If he had, there were a lot of things available.

Screw the run n shoot, let's just run the ball with McNeal. BLM was horrible tonight - especially considering he had some of the same receivers as last year. Weak.

agreed - the system is weird - the qb runs about 5 miles back and forth to the coach each play. My Y team had a better system.

The run and shoot starts with the word "run." As others have pointed out, there were several 1000 yard rushers under JJ. McNeal was very, very impressive. Haven't seen a runner like that in a Mustang uniform since ShanDerrick.

I felt like the run blocking was really poor. pass blocking not bad. I really liked Mcneal. with any real holes he would have run for 250. SFA would give up a ton of yards on the ground against anybody.

And that delay of game near the end of the game. We were going nuts in the stands. At that point in the game, when you need to run out the clock, how long does it take to say "HAND THE F'ING BALL TO MCNEAL"?
