Which was the worse call

The pass play on the 4th and 2 in the first quarter, or the fake punt on our side of the field when we have the lead?
Thought the play calling was bizarre all night.
Most teams could write this kind of effort off as a major first game funk, but with our history it just leaves you with that familiar feeling of doom.

or how about doing anything BUT running the ball with Shawnbrey in the 4th quarter, after we had gone up 24-23, then got the ball back on a turnover.

Actually I was OK with the fake but asking your punter to run about 12 yards to get six and to run wide to get those six is a little much. The fake came at a time we weren't doing much.

Tell me you're kidding? We handed them the momentum on a silver platter. Absolutely the right time in the game to pin them deep. Punt the ball! The only reason that didn't turn out worse is because we got lucky that one of their players committed a personal foul and backed them up 15 yards on the ensuing drive.

The worst call was starting Bo Levi as our QB!

Good idea. Wrong play called there. High risk high reward. It didn't work. You're the coach. You need to give your players a spark. If it worked, you would have praised it. It was called on the part of the field you would expect it.

The spark they needed could have come by a defensive stand on the opponent's end of the field. Field position was key, and we gave them a good spot.

Actually, as it turned out, high risk, no reward.

I thought that Jones showed a little bit of his leach side today... got impatient with the offense and started making bizarre go for it calls and fake punts trying to spark something.
We could have run on them all night, but I think Jones wanted to give BLM every chance to get out of his funk before we hit the road.

two theories, nay 3 theories
1, bad play calling by JJ
2. bad reads by BLM ( THE CHOSEN ONE/"GUNSLINGER")
3. bad play calling by JJ & bad reads by BLM ( THE CHOSEN ONE/"GUNSLINGER")
