Walked off holding his shoulder 3rd quarter if memory serves.

June said in the postgame PC that he's probably out for next week and maybe longer.

As far as I'm concerned this isn't breaking news on Beasly. With dj out, this the time to get Cole loftin out there. Last year loftin caught everything even with a bad injury.

What an absolute cluster that game was.

Bingo! Unfortunately, we have a guy who is better-suited to be a recruiting coordinator and working in the pr department rather than being a receivers coach. His idea of a receiver is a guy who can run fast, catch balls from the jugs machine and can make the catches(some spectalur) in 7 0n 7 or flag football. I am sick and tired of hearing Reinbold and Jones tell everyone about these guys and how they can play "at the next level" when what they are really saying is that some of these guys have the size or speed to play at the next level. And then when we do make a catch, some of our guys strut up the field like they just made the gamewinning catch in the Super Bowl. That is lack of coaching and discipline. Come on guys, act like you have made a catch before!Give me a 4.5 or 4.6 guy who catches everything routine and occassionally makes a great catch and plays his heart out to a soft speed guy who can't catch even though occassionally he will make a great athletic play. Don't they realize how much pressure they are putting on the QB to have to make perfect throws and even then many will be dropped. Emmanuel is too valuable to come off the field. Dj loafs at times but is spectacular for a freshman and the future is bright.

Beasley did not play well with several drops while Johnson caught everything thown his way. It was clear based on what we saw on Sat DJ is going to be the 4th reciever in the long run. The best players will play as June says.

I agree, while The Truth is out, I would put Loftin in there. Beasly catches everything in practice, but when the lights come on, his schincter tightens up.

I'm biased but Loftin is a great competitor. I watched that kid at Aledo for two years, and he just knows what to do with the football and will take on anyone for the ball. And that's why I always believed he was better than Beasely -- for that reason alone. We'll see what happens this week with the press conference and if June shakes up the WR lineup or keeps it the same.

My gut tells me Jones probably will give Beasley one more start and if Little Elm's own starts to tank it out again, he'll get the hook.

I agree (you didn't say Wilkerson but I know you are referring to him). I am distressed that these guys are no more disciplined now than they were under Coach Bennett. Sanders was very lucky he didn't get a penalty for taunting on his punt return too.
