Rushing StatsLast night McNeil had 158 yards rushing. Our leading rusher last year was McKinney with 190 yards on the year! McNeil had a 49 yard rush last night. Last year our 2 longest runs were 38 by Butler and 34 by morestead. i feel much better about our running game as long as Mcneil is healthy!
Re: Rushing StatsSFA let us get that last run so they would have one more shot on offense. The defense literally fell over. But still, 100 yards on his own is pretty good, and he impressed me when he fought for every yard.
Re: Rushing StatsAgreed, he fought for every yard.

Re: Rushing Stats
I don't follow the logic. Let's see, if we let them score a touchdown and go up by 8 then we get the ball back and have a chance to score 7 and lose or score 8 and tie. If we hold them, then we get the ball back and we are only down by 1. A field goal wins. I don't think SFA let us score on purpose. Just send 'da money.
Re: Rushing StatsOnce he got past the first down marker they may have. Not quite sure. I really would like to see the replay. You may be right M75 because I think(not sure) it was a 3rd down play.

Re: Rushing StatsIt was 2nd down. They were out of time outs. We could have run the clock down to under 30 secs and punted if we did not make the first down in 2 tries. If we made a first down on either 2nd or 3rd down, the game was over. It was a very smart play on their part, and they actually had a chance until the Kennemer sack.
