you know better than that...BCS game, yes...but National Championship game is reserved for a select few conferences.
It's a shame because if BYU runs the table after beating OU and Florida State, they just might have a legitimate claim to a spot in the Championship game, but I can't see it happening because the powers that be will not give them enough credit for beating the likes of Utah and TCU. Utah needs to beat Oregon and Louisville and TCU needs to beat Virginia and Clemson to help the MWC earn more respect.
I know the SEC people are in denial about Utah whipping Alabama last year. They all consider it a fluke and attribute it to Bama being down after losing out on a chance to play for the National Championship.
Have to give the MWC credit for having stepped their game up. CUSA, on the other hand...
