We are off the Bottom 10 for the first time in a while. OU didn't make the coveted #5 spot but one can't argue with the winner of that position. Also, we are off the waiting list. WSU is on the waiting list so who knows how Sept will shape up for us.

I think ripping Florida State's clock management is a joke. They weren't perfect and got a little help from Miami's TO (nice organization by the Canes inside their own 5). But keep in mind, the Canes also got flagged for PI on third down and gave FSU a first down and goal. So the Noles had 3 shots at the end zone in the last 14 seconds. Getting 3 plays in the final 14 seconds isn't too bad.
When the clock is running, everybody hits the panic button. The Noles were inside the Miami 5. It's not like they had to drive the length of the field. Stupid announcers were the ones screaming, "What are they doing?" They were fine. They ran their stuff.
I just think the media was wrong about this. Noles just didn't score.
