Awfully true. Around 21-7, 28-7 I wanted to see them go for the throat and pulverize them into another world. It didn't happen today, but baby steps.

Posted: Sat Sep 12, 2009 7:23 pmHuge win. Especially given the blown leads we have had over the last two seasons. Sure, UAB isn't a powerhouse but we need to win against teams we have a chance to beat. We need to beat WSU next week.
A lose at WSU doesn't end the season but puts doubt into the kids heads. They win, and they have a lot of confidence going into the difficult part of the schedule. And confidence goes a long way.
And the Defense should feel much better about their ability to make plays and stop opponents. The O has to feel that they have not started playing up to their potential.
Special teams were solid and hopefully that will continue.
