I thought he was very inciteful and yet keep his cool during the excitement. I guess we got to expect from now on to expect to get to the Winner's Circle. Was that Hampton?

SMU broadcasts have just enjoyed a serious upgrade in both the analyst chair and sidelines. Makes me wonder why Swann was there for so long. He was a joke.

I loved swan - he is a great ambassador for smu - he is one of the all time great mustangs in my opinion - his uab call a few years ago will stay with me forever

The refs aren't quite as accountable as they used to be, that's for sure.

Thought it was great when the official called "Hawaii has challenged the placement of the ball.".

Had the challenge been lost, Hawaii would have started their game against Washington State with only two timeouts in the first half.

Swanny would have had a field day with that one. That was very bizarre.

Was listening to the game on the radio, and right before the game was over, you could clearly hear the "SMU! SMU!" chant in the background. I thought that was awesome.

I liked Swannie, too, but Rich is great. He makes it worthwhile.

As a former football color commentator, I heartily admit that I love to hear announcers get excited for the team that they're hired to announce! Today's broadcast was a perfect example. On a scale of 10, I give it a 8.
Keep up the great work, guys! Looking forward to listening to this week's broadcast from Pullman, WA and another SMU victory!

shocker...

swannie was great. you can't fault a guy for loving the ponies when it was hardest to love them. he never let his job get in the way of being a fan!

UAB announcers commented early on yesterday that SMU's team speed was noticeably better than Rice.
