Sorry guys, it's my National Guard Drill weekend, and I only caught the last 1/8th o the game.

Did they put Smith in there just to mix it up? What was the story with the QB swap?

He came in for a couple of designed QB draws, the first one was a nice TD run, and the second time, he got a first down. Bo is definitely no runner, there were a couple of times where he had wide open spaces but decided to still try and throw.

Course, maybe that is a good thing considering the one time he did run, he fumbled.

I beleive it was Smith that fumbled. At least that is what the announcer said. Streaming view does not allow the viewing of the player's numbers.

Um ... he ran twice. Scored the first touchdown of the day.

I'm really happy for Braden — not with the fumble, of course, but so glad to see a guy like that get into the end zone. From everything I hear/read, he's a great guy who busts his tail every day, and it's awesome to see him get rewarded with a touchdown.

Plus, I met his dad a few times — also a great guy. Congratulations to the Smith family.

yeah, you're damn right I am gonna point it out: why didn't they have JWill play this new brandon Smith role? Talk about perfect for it. Mystifying.

As it should be, because until he shows he can throw, every team is going to assume he's in to run only. Chances are he'll be able to find some room to throw.

Perhaps you did not hear that Willis is no longer on the team. We could not use Dickerson or James as running back either.

don't be obtuse. When you move a legit qb to wide receiver, you have basically kicked him to the curb. and yes its particularly relevant now that JJ is all of a sudden using the changeup method and running the qb. Its almost funny. And don't be so threatened by somebody mentioning Jwill, and unlike ED, he does still have eligibility left ya know?

Prob. B/C Willis, like smith would be a drive killer with multiple fumbles in important moments of the game...

Hoop Fan,

How many wins till you go away? I really am actually asking, 6, 7...I just want to know so I can wish you goodbye...

I still have a year of eligibility left and I am not going to get to play either. One reason (among many others) is that I AM NO LONGER ON THE TEAM. Let it go. You once told me I knew nothing about basketball and to stay off the basketball board. I will return the favor. Go away from the football board until you can understand that players no longer on the team will not play. And that especially goes for players that left the team on their own. We all understand your fellings. You have made yourself abundantly clear. Now go argue with ponydoh. Let the rest of us celebrate, speculate, regurgitate, anticipate, and agitate on things that may actually occur. Willis on the field will not happen.

its a valid question, and its a new angle that did not exist last week. not sure why that is so hard to grasp. We put a qb in to run the ball yesterday. And Nick, BLM is nothing short of a bad turnover machine himself.

I never said he was god, like you think JW is...

I just want to know when you will stop crying...I don't think we are going to a BCS game this year, but we are taking baby steps and all you do is talk about how great some marginal QB was a couple years ago.

Get in the game, everyone is playing...
