Except, of course, the big red stripe down the middle, you're right - no stripes.

The blue helmets and accompanying uniforms were the ugliest in our history, IMO.

I suppose I wasn't too clear on the issue of stripes. What I was trying to convey was that IMO too many stripes ruin the look.

Especially with our unis now. WAY TOOOOOOOOOOOO MANY GOOFY STRIPES!!!

Of all the helmets over the last decadde, I really liked the 97-99 helmet (pearlesque white with Red Running Pony). simple yet refined!

I agree with the simple yet refined look of 97-99.

I still think we should stick with the Pony Express era unis and helmet...but if we had to make a change, I too would go with 97-99 look.
