Tulsa over OU

I actually made this prediction to a few of my OU friends before the season started, and they laughed in my face... but with bradford out who knows

if tulsa can minimize their turnovers, i think this game could be close.

they've had two weeks to prepare for this game, and I expect Beaver to get more playing time then he did against tulane.

This is just a sexy pick...get over it. As much as I want Confrence USA street cred to go up by beating OU I think it will be a beat down. OU has significantly more talent on defense and offense, and just because Bradford is out does not mean they will lose. Look at OU's recruiting compared to Tulsa's...a joke.I am going to go with Stallion on this one and stick with the rule and not the exception.

Trust me OU knows what happend to OSU last week to a similar team

Why would Beaver get more playing time when Kinne looked like he was starting to put it together last week. They use Damaris Johnson in their Widcat formation. Here's a blurb from an article-not the time for any kind of change

"Through two outings, Tulsa is averaging 40.5 points and 450.5 total yards per game, outstanding numbers by any standards. G.J. Kinne, the team's quarterback, has completed 67.3 percent of his throws for 521 yards with five touchdowns and no interceptions, as he appears to be in complete control of the offense. Slick Shelley paces the squad with 133 receiving yards, and Trae Johnson has three touchdowns on five catches. As for the ground attack, Kinne has 130 yards to lead the team.

In the 34-point win over New Mexico last time out, Tulsa finished with 489 yards on 80 offensive plays. Kinne was sensational, as he passed for 310 yards and four touchdowns on 22 completions. He also added 53 rushing yards. The Golden Hurricane controlled the ball for more than 35 minutes and seemed to move it at will."

because he's played in both of there other games, and while your damaris johnson comment is accurate, not the same type of change when your in the wildcat

Damaris Johnson averaged 8.0 yards per run last year and about 8.5 this year-about 450 yards total and he isn't even a RB. I'd be surprised if they mess with what's working. The kid is probably the most dangerous player in CUSA.

im not disagreeing with you about DJ... but having him in the wildcat is different then beaver. OU has limited film on Beaver, so i wouldnt be surprised if they threw in a few plays for him to catch OU off guard. This is a huge game for Tulsa, so I except them to throw everything they can at them. if they are going to have true freshmen QB travel and play a little each game, this would be a game where I would have a few plays built in for him...

Expony, where'd you get that picture? I need that for my fantasy football team. I originally started as the Georgia Bruisers, but the guy who created the league is an insane Notre Dame alum, and I changed it to "Team SMU 2-0 ND1-1". Right now I have a fairly imposing pic of Youri Yenga from 2008.

just for a little perspective-G.J Kinne had the same number of TD throws in his second game ever as a collegian than WSU's two returning QBs had in ELEVEN(11) times more passes last year.

Depends on how good Tulsa is. Last year's team prob would have had a 50/50 shot. dunno about this year's
