Padron's practice stats have been impressive. Maybe he will be ready to play. or at least game manage next year!

Kaiser is hitting on 42% of his passes in high school-47% last year. Redshirt. Look Redshirting is good. Watch the Texas/OU Game. Check out TT, Tulsa and UH. All their QBs are redshirts

we might have a little more competition next year with Padron and McDermott both available but I don't see any obvious candidate to take BLM's job

something eventually has to give...5 TDs vs 7 INTs is not the ratio JJ is looking for and those numbers look to get worse over the next 5 games.

the coach's kid from Rockwall. He knew what an unforced error was before 1st grade.

It has been well documented that JJ McDermott will be the starter in 2010...by me. Bo Levi, when I see you on campus I will give you a giant WTF DUDE!

Agreed.

We will be in Yr 3 of the JJ era and that is all we have to show for the QB position.

That is failure on JJ's part, no way around it.

He was not recruited by JJ, that said he is suppose to be a very accurate passer who cant throw the deep ball.

I will judge BLM by his TD:INT ratio at season's end.

Or it simply underscores the difficulty ANY COACH would have recruiting at SMU. Just like in hoops, our caoches would love to have more talented players but the school and facilities alone aren't getting it done. We have to learn to crawl before we will walk again.

well documented that McDermott will be QB? By whom? The Boys of Sigma Chi. I follow this program pretty close-I guess I must have missed that.
