You joke about that, but how else do you explain him looking good in Alabama and then laying a goose egg in Washington who is a lesser opponent?

He looked better against WSU than he did against UAB. The difference is that the WSU INTs came at more inopportune times.

BLM has looked good when he has had time to throw. He's made bad decisions when under pressure. How unusual. I didn't get to see his bad plays tonight but would guess that pattern held true. I seem to recall the announcers talking about his being pressured on a couple of those picks tonight. Can't comment on his accuracy.
Today's game is history.
Remains to be seen what the rest of the year will bring, but I have to say I certainly didn't expect to start these 1st 3 games with 2 wins. It's actually what I'd hoped for in order to have any chance at improving over last year.
I'm assuming we lose our next 5 games and I honestly felt that if we had started this season 1-7, we might not improve on last year's 1-11 and all momentum JJ has created could be lost.
Despite this very disappointing loss, this program is improving.
