Not to sound negative, but we really sucked [deleted] tonight and I was there to see it in person!!! We finally got a little momentum going and it was gone before I could get my "pony ears". I don't feel bad saying how bad it was tonihgt, because I was surrounded by a group of parents of players who obviously felt the same way as me, and were pretty vocal about it. The mother of a player was even prety vocal in her disgust wiht the coaching staff, so it's not just me that thinks something has gotta change because all I am seeing is a "COMMITMENT" to losing. It will be a tough rest of the year no matter what, but let's all pray for a win...

Well, I don't want to re-ignite an existing fire, so I will refrain from negative commentary, but I just hope the players and their families realize everything is being done on their parts to turn this thing around. But the most dejecting realization is, not everyone in that program is on the same page and something drastically requires improvement before we boast an 0-12 record. I invite all the rebuttals to this topic, as we should continue giving time to this program and it's direction, but it shouldn't be this difficult to witness.

Maybe a winless season will actually force positive changes.

History at SMU doesnt support that theory at SMU. We have witnessed many terrible years and made changes only to see things get worse as in this season, perhaps our worst ever. I am regrettably losing faith in Bennett. I know he has only been here a short time but the lack of effort , horrendous play, mental mistakes and general idiotic play-calling must be laid at the feet of the coach. He is a very nice enthusiastic man, but Im doubting his coaching ability. Witness a similar perosn at TCU a few years back..Jim Wacker. Lights are going out at SMU and our coaches dont have a clue as to how to turn them back on.
