Prediction: June's honesty and frankness won't sit well with some,
but who cares, it's obvious they'll never be happy anyway.

Sadly, you are probably correct.

I've been saying 6 this whole time, and Hawaii Bowl this whole time.

I don't think anyone would be disappointed with 6 wins as a goal this year. We would be disappointed if we get 6 wins and then next year the goal is 6 again.

Posts like yours IPP shows that you are pathologically incapable of understanding that the realists on this board stand for real improvement and standards. The constant negativity is the byproduct of a team that has failed to achieve basic improvement and marginal Div. I play year after year after year.

off by about a decade on Steve-O & Montana @ ND.

Montana was there 75-78, I think.

Great post, strongly agree.

I predicted 3-4 wins before the season. If we get 6 (or even 5), it will be a huge step forward. I actually see that total next year, but if we get 6 (and a bowl bid), I'm there.

Don't forget that if you don't agree with him you are a defeatist...or socialist....or realist. Whichever's the worst.

I might be in the minority on this, but if, by the grace of God, we go to a bowl game this year, I would hope its not the Hawaii bowl.

Number one choice would be the Liberty Bowl, because that would mean we are Conference Champions, but aside from that I think other CUSA bowls would be better.

IF we go to a bowl, I would love for it to be one of the CUSA bowls where we are up against a team from a BCS conference (St. Petersburg bowl vs. Big East or Texas Bowl vs. Big 12). Also, these bowls have a much higher payout than the Hawaii bowl.

The Hawaii bowl would probably be a big money loser for us and travel for the few fans that we have would be much more difficult.

Stop Tweeting and coach your damn team and recruit. I realize that this is the hip thing and it keeps recruits on your bandwagon and all that business. But when it matters, the successful recruiting will be done by the face-to-face contact and delivering the convincing message.

Twitter has got to go.

Yeah, I'm old school about this kind of thing!
