At the end he asks if SMU needs a 6-5 quarterback with three years left (his son.)

Thanks for telling all future NFL-caliber QBs to stay away from SMU, Joe.

Texas Tech has done an impressive job of recruiting top notch QBs into their system and I see no reason why we wouldnt have the same opportunity if we continue to improve in the future.

We will not recruit well if we do not win.

Another season like the last several and we will not be enticing any top rated quarterbacks to the hilltop. That is why I felt like maybe JJ should have given Willis some playing time last year.

I get tired of the Tech analogies. We have yet to prove we can win in CUSA.

Heck go check out his son....with a pedigree like that and his younger brother going to WU, he must have some talent and be nice to have a big name like Montana behind the program....I was at the Cotton Bowl game back in 79 when he engineered that huge came back in the second half to beat Houston after being so sick at all day...great memory.

Thanks for the thought as yes it was a cold one....almost as cold as the Cotton Bowl day when the Stangs played Pitt.....
