She also interned in school psychology and has served as clinical director for two psychiatric hospitals.

She could probably help some Pony FANS

All overreacting fans, this question and answer is for you:

Q: What about fans who become totally despondent or overly angry about their team losing?

A: “I would say, first of all, it’s a game. Let’s keep it in perspective. And secondly, if you can’t find the joy in this, then you need to put that away and get a life, to be honest with you. Because that’s way, way, way out of perspective.”

Jeeeezzz talk about hitting the nail on the head!

#1. "Student-athletes sometimes face strong criticism on fan message boards and elsewhere – and some of it is personal and demeaning. What are your thoughts on that type of fan reaction and its impact?"

#2. "Are there some athletes who should never look at fan message boards? "

#3. "What about fans who become totally despondent or overly angry about their team losing? "

Gotta love the Doctor's answer:
"And I tell them, every one of the people that are complaining are not wearing
shoulder pads on Saturday.” “And you know what? That’s a life lesson.”

Now we need to get June Jones a decision analyst to help him.

The last 5 minutes of the WSU game were a debacle.

playing with a lead never bothered Colt Brennan, Nick Rolovich, Timmy Chang and Dan Robinson, we kept on scoring in the red zone. June is not the debacle, got to look at a young qb making poor decisions and inaccurate throws. Hopefully Bo gets better as the season progresses and SMU wins at least 6 games to be bowl bound, it may happen, then again, Bo needs to focus. Great article on the sports psychologist, unfortunately appointments are voluntary, I'm wondering if Bo is big enough to pay a visit since he did state he got lazy in the Wazzou game. How does a player get lazy knowing his team last won 3 games in a row back in 1984.

Yes, BLM has been a head case this season (last season the excuse was that he was a freshman thrown into a situation) and some sports psy could help. From his own lips he thought we had the other team (inferred by me from things he said) and he lost concentration (said by him.) He was injured and sick (said by others.)

Tons of excuses but I think a little sports psy is in order and I thought so from the first game. Bring it on.

If you are talking to me, I was serious, not trying to bag on BLM. He has the potential to be very good but he needs to get his head on straight. That is an honest observation, not a rant.

Psychologist's Record against Division 1A Teams: 2-23 for .08% winning percentage. Maybe if we recruited better players she might not have to treat as many players who feared they might be "marginal players".
