Never saw a team burn all 3 timeouts on their first drive of the game before

just gave a shout out to Emanuel Sanders for his big numbers last week.

*side note* they were talking about college fantasy picks and he was one of them by the commentator

Hope Kaiser is close to Gabbert as a QB. Gabbert is unbelievable! He only played sparingly as a backup last year and should have been redshirted. Through the first 3 games this year his stats are:

PASSING GP-GS Effic Cmp-Att-Int Pct Yds TD Lng Avg/G
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Gabbert, Blaine 3-3 166.10 62-91-0 68.1 747 8 49 249.0

Last night Blaine Gabbert (6-5, 240lbs), a sophomore, completed 25 of 40 attempts for 414 yards and three touchdowns, including scoring tosses of 74 and 31 yards to Danario Alexander, to help Missouri beat Nevada 31-21. To top it off, he didn't have an interception and hasn't had one for the first 4 games of the season! (Wish Mitchell could do the same.) With his size and mobility this kid has a great chance of playing on Sundays if he keeps it up and stays healthy.

Gabbert was a 5 star recruit that originally committed to Nebraska but Callahan was about to get fired so Gabbert switched his commitment to Missouri. Glad to see things are working out for him.

I don't think the two should be compared. One was one of the most highly recruited QBs in the country-the other had a couple of 2nd Tier offers. BTW Desmet won last nite something like 57-38 but I haven't seen the stats yet, Kaiser is really struggling with his completion percentage this year-he is 29-66 coming into last nites game. But he's a big strong kid who should develop hopefully after a redshirt.
