ESPN Dallas to launch Monday

Coinciding with the Cowboys Monday night game.

Wonder if they will have any pony coverage. The TV ad had all football teams on it.... Cowboys, Longhorns..... and Sooners.

I saw the ads last night as well, during the Mizzou-Nevada game, and had the same thoughts. Until we win for an extended period, it will be Sooners/Horns/Sooners/Horns. I'm not gonna expect too much

I've heard some ESPN announcers talking about it too. It made me angry when one of them said:

"You can find all the information you're looking for on the Cowboys as well as the Longhorns - for all things Dallas log on to ESPNDallas.com"

the sooners won't be covered like some think...they have UT/OU in the picture because of the Red River Rivalry coming up...but for the most part it will center around the 'Boys, Stars, Mavs, and maybe Rangers...

i'm sure SMU will get some coverage, just not as much as the pro teams

Longhorns are not part of "all things Dallas." Longhorns ARE "all things Austin."

I'd say you could make a pretty good case that the Horns pull more viewrers / interest / love / alums in Big D v. the Ponies..

ESPNChicago covers Notre Dame & Illinois, not just Northwestern, so it seems these sites are more regional than just what the name states. Heck if they really only covered "Dallas," they wouldn't get the Rangers or the Cowboys...
