and passed on him when he was transferring because we had Bo Levi to start as a true freshman...

WE passed on him?......i thought that was the other way around as he was a very high ranked QB out of HS with many D-1 offers and opportunities...why would he have desired the Hilltop?....

not when he was coming out of HS...when he transferred out of Mich St. last year

Just out of curosity how do we know JJ actually said no, or simply couldn't promise a starting position for him so he went some place he knew he could play this year.
