The road to a bowl?

Postby The PonyGrad » Sun Sep 27, 2009 4:57 pm

With a few weeks into the season maybe we can start to get some perspective:

We should be favored, as of today, vs. Rice, UTEP, and Tulane though not by more that 5-7 points at home.

We are roughly within the same margin on the underdog side vs. ECU and Marshall(ish)

I think Navy is beatable though tougher that the two above.

If we take care of our "should wins" and take one of the possible wins we are there.

Of course our performance will vary greatly on how efficient our offense is.

that road goes through Ford Stadium. We will have to win 4 of the 5 remaining home games...I don't see a promising shot for a road win. Marshall looked pretty good against Memphis yesterday and TCU, Houston & Tulsa are going to be longshots, to be sure

The best shot for a road win looks to be the mustard boys from Tulsa.....

Memphis is bad, really bad. That being said, I don't think we will win at Marshall because of the weather conditions.

TCU, UH, and Tulsa will all be longshots. Tulsa less so than the other two.
