The 10-year-old is calling a W for Saturday

She's got a week of Braum's riding on this. I told her it was a very ambitious because of where we are and where TCU is. She simply replied,

"Well, Dad the thing about rivalries is that everybody gets pumped up for them. Why shouldn't we win this game.''

Good thing she's coming to Arkansas-A&M.

The Sage has spoken...your 10 year old, that is. :P

God, I hope she is right. I really, really do.

Funny, I asked my 9 year old tonight when we were discussing who SMU played next week and he said "Oh no, that could be an ugly one." General I hope your daughter knows more than my son.

I had a dream we won or something like that. Things are really looking up for this Saturday.

Nice quote, there, Lance Harbor. If we are lucky, the SMU dance team will show up in nothin' but whip cream and cherries.

I prefer this one...which is kinda-sorta relevant to this week...since Coach Jones is so into motivational tweets:

"...Let's go out there and well play the next [60] minutes for the next [60] minutes. And leave it all out on the field, we got the rest of our lives to be mediocre but we got the opportunity to play like gods for the next [game] of football, but we cant be afraid to lose, there’s no room for fear in this game. If we go out there and we half [deleted] it because where scared, all we have is an excuse, we’re always gonna wonder. But we go out there and we give it absolutely everything, that’s heroic...."

More corny than "Hey Mox, you skinny-ass b-tch...let's roll!!", but hey, it's fun for the board.

When I finish my 18 year old ......scotch........before the game, I just hope that the total win amount by TCU won't be more than the 28 point spread.....I think it will be closer than that....I think the Defense is better than advertised by SMU.....much better than last year.
