OK, since I'm so convinced we have no shot at winning this game on Saturday and that Fort Worth will become blowout city for the Mustangs and several of you pollyana's believe otherwise, let's make sport of this.

Terms of winning and losing can be discussed. For instance, if TCU wins, many of you should put on your signature, "Patton is the best poster on PonyFans in the History of PonyFans''

If SMU wins, I'll wear something purple to the ECU game -- I know ECU is purple -- but you can find me in the Mustang club tent -- then you can give me all the business you want.

These are ideas. Get creative but make the terms appropriate. Money is not on the table.

Let's just say that I hope I lose, but I don't think I will.

I want to see what you got!

General what "regular posters" are predicting SMU will beat TCU?

Your prediction of a blow-out is not really a reach is it ?...since TCU is undefeated,
ranked #11 in the country, and is favored by nearly 30 points?

It's better to look good than to feel good. I'm actually poking fun at myself on this and now it's the sunshiners who are getting all twisted up in knots.

Hey sunshiners, BRING IT ON!! You are the guys wearing the rose-colored glasses thinking that things are going great and some of you even dare to bring up a victory. Then you get called on it and immediately waffle to the flash over substance comments and starting bringing up how good TCU is.

Guys, you can't have it both ways.

I do think things are going according to the big picture plan, but that does not equate to SMU beating the #11 team in the entire country.....you should quit exaggerating people's views because of your anger at folks pleased with the coach you don't like and the offensive scheme you don't like. June Jones is here to stay....and he is not going to....nor was he hired to...run some fullback up the middle Big Ten offense. Why you seem to almost relish the fact that SMU may get beat this weekend by the #11 team in the country is beyond me. And BTW looking at the current rankings...TCU would beat almost every team in the Big Ten too!

And yet I am a season ticket holder and am a contributor to the Mustang Club beyond the money that comes out of my tickets.

The current head football coaches approach to football is not something I agree with. That's fine. He doesn't care what I think and nor should he. I'm just not on board with it. It's OK to fundamentally disagree with somebody's philosophy.

But reading some of your opposing notes, it almost makes me think that I've committed treason. If I'm not in step with things....

That said, I hope he's successful. I'll keep coming to games because I'm an alum and that's what I do.

Its all in fun...its good to have the feedback here and its all healthy...I haven't seen this much craziness on the boards in a long time....I love the Frogs coming on here in good nature and even the ones that are giving us some good advice about free parking, facilities for the kids, etc.....it wasn't like the hatred we had in the SWC days with A & M and Texas......

I do not love the Run and Shoot either, but hope it continues to make us at least competitive the next few years. 20 plus years of horrible football has been enough.
