Traffic Alert: I-30 on Saturday

Postby PonySoprano » Mon Sep 28, 2009 3:20 pm

If you are driving over to Ft. Worth for the game on Saturday, don't forget that the Aggy-Arkansas game is at Jerry's Death Star at 6:30pm on Saturday night. I-30 traffic will probably be backed up, so you may want to avoid I-30 thru Arlington (take either I-20, 183 or 121).

However, those dumb-a$$ aggies might think the game is at the Cotton Bowl and traffic won't be too bad.

Thanks for the reminder as I din't know about that...but don't forget the dumb Razorback fans may be driving down to College Station as they think that's also in the DFW burbs....

Just FYI -- The parking lots at Dallas Cowboys stadium open at noon. So given that time and the fact that most will arrive about 4 hours before the 6:30 kickoff, that could -- I say could -- help the flow a bit. Also, the Arkansas and A&M bands will have a parade around the stadium around 4:30, so if there could be a bulk of people arriving around 3:30 so they can watch it.

Just passing this along because I had to get prepped for it.
