This romance between the Hawaii media and the current head football caoch has got to be dialed down. I'm really getting tired of this. They need to find something else to report on. Sorry if Greg McMackin embarrassed the state with his comments and may not be as popular as his predecessor.

I realize he was a prominant figure out there, but I just believe this is not healthy for him and what he's trying to do at SMU. I find it to be a huge distraction.

I get the sense this is Hawaii media driven to the point where they can't or refuse let this go.

My apologies, folks. I mean it. As I mentioned to Alex and PK the other day, it's just not a fun time right now trying to get on top of the cleanup with my dad's affairs. I feel like I am wearing so many hats right now. You attorneys out there know what I'm talking about.

Some stuff has recently come up that really made me livid, so unfortunately for many, I'm using the board as a frustration release. Probably not the ideal place to do it but better here than anywhere else.

As I said, I know I have not been Mr. Fun lately. I'll try and rein it in and be a little better about this.

I feel like my whole went upside down on Aug. 12. I'm doing my best to try and get through it all, but I'm not perfect either.
