Nations Top Recruit

Adrian Peterson according to Rivals he said he was 90% sure where he was going to go-then he said OU has been his favorite for some time. I'm sure he would be awesome at OU but if I were him I would want to go somewhere where the offense was built around me rather than 4 wideouts and probably incoming recruit Bomar. It will be interesting to see if the passing attack or running attack wins out because the roles of about 10 QBs, RBs, WRs and TEs hand in the balance. If Stoops intends to keep the offense the way it is I think this is a huge mistake by Peterson-kinda like if Eric Dickerson had gone to OU and played HB in the Wishbone.

Sounds like a young man whoc learly should be headed to The Hilltop!

I heard Brent Musberger slobbering all over the kid the other day. Then again, Musberger slobbers all over anyone he thinks is good.

I'm sure they'll find a way to keep it balanced and keep everyone happy. Kind of like Miami has done with Clinton Portis, Willis Mcgahee, Ken Dorsey, and a plethora(sp?) of receivers like Andre Johnson, Santana Moss, and Reggie Wayne, not to mention Winslow and Shockey.

The most impressive coaching quality of Stoops is his ability to run an offense fit to his strengths. He has the adaptation effect. It's pretty cool. One year, they will be 4 wide because those 4 wide are pretty damn good and the running game is somewhat weaker. Other years, Stallion could play running back and rush for 1,000 yards, so they become a run-oriented team. Adrian Peterson, although annoyingly slobered over by Musberger, will go there and have the offense dictated around everything else around him. That's OU. In a few months they will have another National Championship. Pretty good coaching going on up the road. They went out and hired a pretty good coach and cleaned that house up.

Johnny says OU and any of OU's recruits can kiss Johnny's [deleted]. This is an SMU board. Johnny says that we should focus on our team and not drool or suck up to other teams. Johnny says that many of OU's recruits do not graduate and make nothing of themselves after football. For the so-called #1 recruit, Johnny hopes that you fail miserably if you attend any other school than SMU. Go Mustangs!!

Mike says Johnny's shtick was funny for maybe his first or second post, but now needs a new gimmick other than speaking of himself in the third person.

Mr.T is the only one whose gimmick never seems to get old.

It is good to know what Johnny Says...But it is annoying to hear it in the third person. Go somewhere else with that.
