23 years ago, on Sept. 27, 1986, SMU defeats TCU 31-21 in front of 35,481 in the Cotton Bowl during the State Fair. The win moves SMU to 2-1 on the season and 2-0 in the SWC. I was at that game and it was a great atmosphere.

The win turns out to be the first of four consecutive victories, before the season falls apart. After the four wins in a row, there was the 3 point loss at Texas followed by the 4 point loss to #10 A$M at home.

Any chance there will be 35k at ACS tomorrow?
