Peruna Is MY Mascot Stickers

I'm going to be printing up a bunch of stickers that simply say "Peruna Is MY Mascot" and will have them available at my spot on the Boulevard for anyone who wants to wear them October 10 and 17 (and probably throughout the rest of the season).

I'm not going to boo, or be impolite when Mrs. Pickens offers us her gift. Hers is worthy cause, and I have no problem with her having SMU being the "poster child" for her cause. I thank her for her gift, what I hope will just be the pill we have to swallow in order to entice future gifts of things that we actually need. I just want to make the simple statement to the administration that Peruna Is MY Mascot, and always will be.

On the bright side, for the first time in my life I will feel perfectly free to get up from my seat at halftime of a college football game. Should be an interesting experience for me.

It may be homemade with the die cutting tools that scrapbookers like me have around the house, but there will be a sign.

Someone needs to make a sign something like:

Peruna:
1 Kill
1 Rape
Many Assaults

New Horse:
.............

better check on university policy-I'm almost sure they reserve the right to remove all posters and visual signs within the Football Stadium as part of your ticket contract. If you violate terms of ticket they may have you removed. Not saying they will but I really wouldn't be surprised if they confiscate any "negative" signage-but they can't controll a bumper sticker on a car.

Terry, you are perfectly welcome to print such a sign -- or maybe a "Size Does Matter" sign would be up your alley too.

It is entirely possible that my voice is the minority, but I still want our coach and our administration to hear it anyway.

It entirely not possible, because it is my voice as well and I am always in the majority (and right).

You aren't in the Minority...there are some true posters that probably don't care one way or another, but the one's fanning the flames that this is actually a good idea are working for the athletic department and are trying to spin this.
