y'all should really not look a gift horse in the mouth (sorry to take that out of the bad joke closet). Be grateful to Madeline and what she has done for us giving us a real live Wild Mustang and all. The rider or team of handlers should be hilarious at least. Oh and embarrassing.

God, please don't let them be as gay as Zorro at Tech.

Please.

It may have already been posted, but I really hope they hired some professionals and do this thing the right way. Our other game presentations have been abysmal and we don't want to look like middle schoolers in front of Boone, Roger, etc.

Orsini, go ahead and spend some money and get this done right. And for god sakes please have whoever is riding the new horse practice the entrance a few times before game day so there are no mishaps.

The more I read about Peruna and his/her history, the more pissed I get about the new Mustang...Why are we trying to become like everybody else???

I heard rumors that the SMU Equestrian girls are going to ride the Mustang...Shoot me now...

Please read about Peruna and his/her tradition.

I totally agree. Sounds like there might be a rider and a team of handlers. If so let's get some people that will do it right.

The equestrian team is in charge of BOTH..yes BOTH new horses (which are both geldings). There are two handlers provided by Pickens...for this game only. However, as of yesterday they do not know what they are supposed to do. I still don't get it...if they have riders, then aren't we the Cowboys?

Now I'm even more pissed...Thanks...After our "masked raider" (oops) I mean "rider" (oops again) rides in, we can throw a spear that has been set on fire at mid-field before the game...

Might as well take a little from everyone and start over...

Before anyone accuses me of being old, I'm 30 and never experienced the glory days...

Wouldn't it make sense for the OSU Cowboy to be on a horse?

as a tip of the hat to T. Boone Pickens- as they play Wild Fire will everyone waive their hands side to side above their heads like Oklahoma State fans. Thank You. If we're nice he might buy us a Big Cannon

I understand the Florida Gators insist on being led onto the field by a real alligator. At least they are good enough to withstand the 8 delay of game penalties they will get before the opening kickoff.

Tulsa palyers have said they will not play without a real hurricane leading them out. They have agreed to forgo that when they visit Tulane.

UAB is seeking a dragon but the fire marshall has already put many restrictions on the handling if and when they find one.

Louisville has to get a new mascot every week because their cardinal always flys away when he leads them onto the field.

I am stunned and appalled by the snubbing of a 70 year tradition for a little cash and bravado. I do not see why I need to be thankful.
