First of all...thanks to Lakewood 1st&10 for showing the game with sound....I was actually suprised at the number of big SMU donors watching with me....FIrst off, Defense played pretty good...Second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh...June's ego cost us the game..BLM has no busines taking snaps in a D1 game...and to think, we ran off Justin Willis for this.....

Next time we want to spend 2 million a season on a coach who has his head up his [deleted], i hope we get a receipt.....

maybe that was JJs plan all along...to further ruin SMUs hopes of getting back to top 25 status

I don't follow recruiting. What do we have in the pipeline for QBs? I can't imagine watching this guy for another couple of years with select few moments he has followed by a lot of INT's and not good decisions. He is not the future.

I thought the O line blocked well against some really good defensive ends and the D played good. for the most part..a few mistakes but the decision making of BLM is going to come back to haunt us down the line...he is not a winner...too many brain cramps....why do you throw so high in the third and fourth quarters?....yes in the first when you are hyped but not late against the second team defense..and to those who complained about Patterson.....he chose not to score at the end and would have blown all point spreads...

Patterson is about the only thing I like about TCU. The guy is a great coach. Who cares what he says about this being SMU's "superbowl". All HC's are entitled to some smack talk.

The consistency he has been able to achieve is quite impressive. I know it started with Fran but TCU is always in the mix nationally. They are a well coached football team. And the fact he has stayed at TCU with quite a bit lower salary then what he could be making in larger program speaks volumes. Chris Petersen at BSU is also one of those guys. Look at their respective track records year after year after year.

Knocking BLM is not really appropriate. He is a college aged kid. If he sucks or shows no development then the buck stops with JJ. Since Willis is no longer available he may be our only option. It just seems logical to give someone else some snaps.

Maybe I am out of line about knocking BLM and the buck stops with JJ......but when a scholarship athlete who accepts that responsibilty for a $200,000 stipend and throws hundreds if not thousands of throws before he takes the field and makes those kind of decsions then he should take the heat.....he should even if he got paid to play chess or flunks his engineering tests too.....BLM accepted the burden and yes JJ should make another choice....

I've had the opinion all year that there are no other options at qb, but I'm done with #9. He simply can't play. I don't care if that was a top ranked defense he played against tonight, he had time to make plays and didn't do it. He has no "feel" for the game at all. A lot of the passes he actually completed were circus catches by the receivers. I think he may have hit 2 receivers in stride all night.

I hate the thought of starting another qb who has never taken a snap but I'm willing to consider it now. It was hard to tell from my vantage point, but it looked like Emmanuel was getting really frustrated with him. I don't blame him.

BLM is June Jones QB, He'll won't bench him with out any real reason to do so. Even if Bo is doing sh*tty. But i'll be surprised if JJ gets his mind out of the gutter & opens up the QB competition next year.

We used to talk all the time about B. Smith. Is everyone off that train for some reason now?

Listen to this guy, he knows what he's talking about. JJ will stick with HIS choice for QB even if it kills him. He did the same with Timmy Chang and Timmy went on to break the NCAA INT record. The only time Chang was replaced is when he got injured.

That's JJ's M.O., get a "local" QB and stick with him. Expect BLM to start for two more years or until JJ gets canned. Which ever comes first.

With 34 Ints in 16 games-Bo Levi has drawn a bead on that record.
