Are we seeing over 20K Saturday? I would be pleased with 25K, but think 21K is more likely. Guess the long layoff between home games might draw some walk up.

I expected a nice crowd (25K+) due to the 2-2 start and the fact that we have not had a home game in a month..also, weather should be perfect. ECU may travel well, although I remember last time they were at Ford, that was a dismally attended game, course ECU was not good then and we never are....

Interesting game will be the Navy game...can hardly wait to see how the halftime fiasco is going to play out...you know its going to be a wreck of epic proportions and you will not want to miss it...from people walking out of the stadium to old men and young kids booing the new horses and the handlers to the dreadful "wildfire" music....It should be EPIC FAIL that cannot be missed..

ECU will not travel well for this game. It is up to SMU fans, and since no one in Dallas has ever heard of ECU, it does not look good. I'll be optimistic, 16,000.

ECU fans on the CUSA board are estimating an ECU crowd of about 1000

wasn't ECU's last visit a 2pm start?...beautiful fall day as i recall. Might be worth a few extra peeps being a night game. And I agree on the impending epic failure. Maybe we can use it to our advantage and advertise the certain epic fail so as to attract all SMU haters in the metroplex to watch it. Might be a sellout then.

Agree that EPIC FAIL will bring a nice halftime crowd for Navy. Maybe new promo some half time tickets where they can take the seats of the 1st half exiters.

that would require basic coordination, thinking and probably a small amount of flexibility by some administrator. you are asking way too much.

Navy will be 25k plus, because it's Navy.

I'll bet 12k this Saturday, but we have those DISD kids, so 12,800...if ECU brings 1000, 13,800...announced crowd will be 17k-18k ish

We need a campaign for the Navy game: "Sellout for the sellout" - Looking forward to a train wreck of a halftime - YeeHaaa

I expect two trainwrecks. The halftime event followed by us getting smashed again by Navy.

GO PONIES!!!

my guess is that we will do well to draw 16k

need to win this one againt ECU to have really good crowds for Navy and UTEP, both of which will bring plenty of their own fans. By really good crowds, I mean 25k plus

if we go on the expected losing streak, Tulane and even Rice/Homecoming will be poorly attended

always hope I'm wrong because 25k SMU fans would make a HUGE difference as far as our chances of beating ECU. They will be as physical as anyone we've played and a big crowd sure would help keep the guys juiced

No Train wreck for halftime.
I like the REAL Mustang idea.
And I like the name of MISTER for the new Mustang.

MISTER Mustang.

As far at Wildfire goes..... I makes me mist up a bit. :-(
