I didn't like the fact that JJ Benched an experienced QB for a true freshman but I had to let it go.

It's not your decision guys. We're all getting real mustangs, so deal with it. The shetland pony will still be down on the field looking all small and cute. You can kiss him at halftime if you want.

Actually, TheBestAvailable, we are getting FORMER Mustangs. They would be a great mascot for our alumni relations department.

Real mustangs? Seriously, are you guys athletic department employees or something? You're a bit too enthusiastic about the geldings to be believable. The whole excited kids at Christmas act, "we're all getting real mustangs Santa" is pretty funny.

You see the same old Mustang Club intercircle attacking anyone with the balls to stand up for one of SMU's most cherished traditions. I guess they all got their marching orders at Weekly Suck-Up Meeting. TBA-you may think that the decision has been made-Ken Pye thought the decision had been made to deemphasize SMU Football too-these Big Phony Ponyz are NEVER EVER going to be accepted by real SMU fans. You guys ought to hide in shame for backing this [deleted]. This university does not belong to Bill Clements, Kenneth Pye, Copeland, Orsini Turner or June Jones. The alumni and the students will decide eventually who they choose to support and I encourage all to speak your mind loud and clear early and often.

When A. Kenneth Pye got the Moody center court logo changed to be navy and gray, the students caused enough of an uproar to get it changed before the basketball season started. Unfortunately, the current students (other than maybe the band) could care less about keeping the Peruna tradition continued unsoiled - the alumni MUST stand up!
