Cowboys with Lassos standing on Big Phony Ponyz are next. What a [deleted]' Circus. How about Christmas Lights at nite on the Cow-boys. Didn't Robert Redford already do this movie

Thanks for the link. The kids are going to love the new Mustang. Probably heard the same crap when we added a second cheer squad. We have cheerleaders and a pom squad, now we will have a Mustang to add to Peruna.

The gelding will lead the players onto the field. Peruna has been replaced. Mustangs are not being "added" to Peruna

I am pretty sure nobody was against another 10 or so scantily clad women running and jumping around the field!

Hey now, there were 11 players on the defense last year.

Thanks for the link. They look great. Looking forward to seeing them and Peruna on the field.

Yeaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They look great!!!!!!!!!! I love them!!!!!!!!!! Drop the Fort Worth Boys, perfect!!!!

Football prospects are influenced by many things at a University. Some of you self professed know it alls have never been on an official NCAA trip. Never had a head coach in your home, never been in a head coaches home. They don’t break out a pony!
This is so simple to understand.

Open your mind like a parachute, get past the all about me, and put your self in the prospects shoes. The Mustangs exemplify strength and courage, the underlying things you want a young man to see about your program when he is a prospect. Not a pony show.

I was all for the new Mustangs but after seeing this picture........ I'm not so excited.

The black one is knock kneed and neither of them look like they're ready to run any races(so to speak).

They look a little lazy(which is understandable/geldings). Being all saddled up kills the whole idea and can someone please tell those fellas to stop standing on their backs. Also, I'm not sexist but we definitely can't have a girl riding them.

I'm switching sides on this one(not too proud to admit when I'm wrong).

Id be on board if we could park the brown one in the end zone and let him rear up after touchdowns.

However, this is just too cowboyish for me.

I'd be willing to bet that SMU has never lost a recruit due to their mascot. I wonder how TCU has out-recruited SMU for 20 straight years with a (non-existent) Horney Toad as Mascot. Recruits pick schools for all kinds of stupid reasons-it all starts with the uniforms for example but your really stretching your argument to suggest that Peruna has cost us recruits. Never heard a single recruit mention a mascot as a reason in the 40 years I've followed recruiting.

Give us a break One Trick Pony, you act as if you have actually been through the process before. Oh wait, you have!
