I respect all of your love for the pony. As an outsider I always saw it as a joke before I spent a little time at SMU… I like large sized animals they project strength.

Should touch down on the Blvd landing strip about 3:30PM tomorrow afternoon on what appears to be a near perfect October Saturday afternoon for some football tailgating. Hebrew National dogs and some chicken breasts will be on the grill. Mrydel you know you are always welcome at our tent and it's not that we supported an additional horse mascot, but we feel it's a decision thats already been made, a decision that we have no control over, so we are going to give it a chance and see how it plays out. We still love Peruna, but feel we have no choice but to give Peruna's new brother a chance. Afterall it's not the horse's fault and it's for a good cause. Go Mustangs - Beat ECU.

I believe Arkpony will provide you with some protection. On the other hand, I have fully indoctrinated my wife so be aware.

I have not even talked to my wife about it. She is so unaware of our traditions that she thinks our mascot is that checkerboard packaged dog food.
