That 83 Nebraska team is my second all time favorite college football team. They played to win. No hesitation going for two. The Scoring Explosion. Rozier, Fryar and Gil. Great great memories.
The pained look on Turner Gils face when they failed to convert is forever imprinted in my memory. It defines college football in the most positive way.
Of course my favorite all team was our 82 incarnation but they did not dominate like NU did. Simply put they found a way to win.
